PRODUCT DETAILS

Borosilicate glass cullet is the raw material of producing CPG (controlled pore glass). CPG is the fundamental medium for biological industry.

Porous glass is glass that contains tiny pores, usually in the nanometer or micrometer range, commonly proecessed by one of the following means: through metastable phase separation in borosilicate glasses (such as in the system SiO2-B2O3-Na2O), followed by liquid extraction of one of the formed phases; through the sol-gel process; or simply by sintering glass powder.

The specific properties and commercial availability of porous glass make it one of the most extensively researched and characterized amorphous solids. Due to the possibility of modeling the microstructure, porous glass has a high potential as a model system. It shows a high chemical, thermal and mechanical resistance, which results from a rigid and incompressible silica network. They can be produced in high quality and with pore sizes ranging from 1 nm up to any desired value. An easy functionalization of the inner surface opens a wide field of applications for porous glass.

Another special advantage of porous glass compared to other porous materials, is that it can be made not only as powder or granulate, but as larger pieces in almost any shape and texture defined by users.

Our products are fundamental raw materials.

Why choose us? The advantages are:

1. The production cost in China is much lower especially with the natural gas furnace. The sales prices are much, much lower than products made in US and EU. We reach the balance of satisfactory quality and low cost.

2. We can supply the gullets with different formula in small order quantity. For example, the buyer may send a composition list, the factory will do the calculation, and we will send the result to potential buyers for confirmation, and trial order gullets will be made and shipped to customers for test. Then it can be formally produced with an identical factory code after passing the test.

3. Packing: in strong brown paper bags (20 -25kgs per bag as per

Buyer’s choice. Then in strong, seaworthy plywood

Crates. One crate contains 250kgs to 500kgs.

4. Minimum order quantity: 50 to 100kgs for trial order. The buyer can purchase the cullet with lowest cost for analysis and trial production.

5. Production method: the factory melts the raw material base onthe buyer’s formula in small clay pots. A clay pot is used for only one time to ensure the purity of the cullet. The furnace is fuelled by natural gas and it contains 8 separate clay pots. This greatly reduces the minimum order quantity requirements, that a trial order can be carried out with lowest possible production cost.

The melting glass liquid is chilled in purified water tank and the cullet is formed in this way.

6. Payment terms is very fair and friendly for buyers: the buyer makes a 50% down payment, we starts to produce the item and will send the sample for each batch in small plastic bottles for buyer’s test and confirmation. Once the sample is confirmed, the buyer pays the balance and we ship the goods at the soonest. The buyer gets a full refund if the sample proved below the buyer’s requirements. This did not and would not happen due to our 10 more years supply experience.

7. Quality assurance: in order to satisfy the buyer’s concerns, the factory does the spectrometry for the sample produced. This ensures the precise chemical element contents.
